"Reflection of Refinement" Self-Emptying

Philippians 2: 5-8:

Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ

Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross.

What measurements do we need to fit into the perfect will of God, what colors must we relect in honoring God's purpose? This morning I come before the altar of God asking for further refinement, I have come to understand that the fabric of my faith must not just look good, but it must be good, what we think must be what we wear.

Saint of my Father, hear this word, that every thought must measured with the rules of God. In the end of a period of learning and tribulations comes the transparent perfecting in Christ, being what you say you are in Christ. The image that lays upon the canvass must reflect a refined and pure heart, that what is left is a masterpiece of God's glory.

Prayer: Dear Father refine us this morning, take what is left for a mold of God. Let the bark be trim from your creation, let our work and purpose be reflective of your devine will. We love so much Lord, teach us more in this hour, prepare us for the days to come.

In Jesus Name. Amen.
